Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly when you fill out a contact or quote request form. This may include your name, email address, business name, existing website URL, budget range, and the details of your enquiry.

How We Use It

We use your information solely to respond to your enquiry and provide the services you request. We do not sell or share your data with data brokers or marketing lists.

Legal Basis for Processing

We process your personal data on the following bases:

  • Consent: when you submit a contact or quote form, you are voluntarily providing your information for us to respond.
  • Legitimate interest: we use pseudonymised analytics to understand how our site performs and improve it. Visitors whose browsers send the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal are excluded from analytics entirely.

Data Retention

We retain form enquiry data only as long as necessary to respond and meet any applicable legal or tax requirements. Analytics data is subject to Google Analytics' retention settings, which we configure to the minimum necessary period.

Analytics and Tracking

This site uses two analytics tools. The full list of events we send and what each one collects is published on our What We Track page.

Google Analytics 4 (GA4) measures pageviews, session activity, and a small number of custom click events (calls-to-action, phone clicks, contact-form submissions). GA4 uses cookies and is loaded by default for visitors whose browsers do not signal an opt-out preference. We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal: if your browser sends GPC, GA4 is not loaded for you at all and no GA4 cookies are placed. GA4 data is processed by Google LLC and governed by the Google Privacy Policy. You can also opt out at any time using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Cloudflare Web Analytics measures pageviews and Core Web Vitals (page-speed metrics). It is cookieless, sets no persistent identifiers, and does not collect personal data. It runs for every visitor, including those who send GPC, because it cannot be used to identify or track individuals.

Website Audit Feature

When you request a website audit via our Free Website Audit page, you provide your email address and the URL you want audited. Your email is used solely to deliver the audit report.

When the audit completes, the site owner also receives a short notification email containing the URL you submitted, your email address, and your overall audit score, so we can follow up if you reply. This notification is delivered to a standard Google Workspace inbox and is subject to normal email retention there.

After the audit report and owner notification are sent, we do not retain your email address, the URL you submitted, or any audit results on our servers. The audit emails themselves are delivered via Postmark (see Data Sharing below), which retains transactional delivery logs per its own retention policy.

Data Sharing

We share data only with the following service providers as required to operate this site:

  • Hostinger: our hosting provider, which processes server requests and stores site files. Hosting infrastructure may be located in the EU or other regions depending on provider configuration.
  • Cloudflare, Inc.: our CDN, DNS, and analytics provider. All visitor requests pass through Cloudflare's edge network, which processes IP addresses and request metadata for caching, security, and DDoS protection. We also use Cloudflare Turnstile on our contact, quote, and audit forms to deter automated submissions (Turnstile collects browser session signals to distinguish humans from bots), and Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure pageviews and page-speed metrics on a cookieless basis.   • Postmark (ActiveCampaign, Inc.): our transactional email provider. All form submissions (contact, quote, and audit reports) are delivered to us via Postmark's API. Postmark retains transactional delivery logs per its own retention policy. See the Postmark Privacy Policy.
  • Google LLC (Google Analytics): aggregated and pseudonymised site analytics. Not loaded for visitors whose browsers send the Global Privacy Control signal.

We do not sell your data to third parties or share it with data brokers or advertising networks.

International Data Transfers

Google Analytics transfers and processes data on Google servers located in the United States. Google LLC applies standard contractual clauses and participates in applicable data transfer frameworks where required. If you do not want your data transferred, enable Global Privacy Control in your browser; GA4 will not be loaded for you on this site.

Cookies

We use two categories of first-party cookies: strictly necessary security cookies set by Cloudflare (required for site operation), and analytics cookies set by Google Analytics (placed by default unless your browser signals Global Privacy Control). Cloudflare Web Analytics is cookieless and sets no cookies of any kind. See our Cookie Policy for full details.

Security

This site uses SSL encryption to protect data transmitted through contact and quote forms. We apply reasonable organisational safeguards to limit access to personal data. Form submissions are not stored in a database; they are transmitted to us by email and retained only as long as needed to respond.

Children's Data

This site is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a child has submitted information through this site, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold about you at any time. You may also request restriction of processing or object to processing where applicable.

Governing Law

This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, USA. Any disputes will be resolved in Ohio courts.
