What Was Built
EasternDreamer.com is a fully automated YouTube video portal.
Every new video upload triggers a nightly build that generates a full SEO page with AI-written summaries, key takeaways, and more.
The Problem
While EasternDreamer built a strong presence on YouTube, their content lacked a dedicated home to capture search traffic and drive independent discovery. We transformed their growing library from a social feed into a structured digital destination, giving viewers a curated way to explore the back-catalogue while establishing true audience ownership.
While a traditional CMS often requires manual entry or heavy plugin overhead to sync content, we built a zero-maintenance pipeline. The site stays perfectly in sync with the YouTube library automatically, allowing the creator to focus on filming rather than data entry.
The Solution
I built a fully automated video portal using Astro and the YouTube Data API. Every night, a scheduled GitHub Actions build polls the channel for new uploads. For each new video, Gemini AI generates an SEO-optimized summary, key takeaways, insights, an FAQ, and transcript-based tags. All turned into a standalone page indexed by Google.
The creator uploads to YouTube as normal. The website takes care of itself. No admin panel, no manual entries, no maintenance burden.
